CODE COMPLIANCE STATEMENTS FOR ABCA PRESCHOOL
WRITTEN DISCLOSURE TO PARENTS OR GUARDIANS THAT THE CENTER IS RELIGIOUSLY EXEMPT FROM LICENSURE
Auburn Baptist Christian Academy is a religiously exempt organization. We are not required to seek licensure for our preschool classes. We do however still submit required documentation for exemption to the VDOE which includes annual health inspections, fire inspections and teacher health and background checks.

WRITTEN NOTICE TO PARENTS OR GUARDIANS OF STAFF QUALIFICATIONS
Preschool teacher qualifications include but are not limited to prior experience with children either in a church setting or school/homeschool. Our teachers will go through backgrounds checks to ensure they are free of any disqualifying convictions or incidents. Our teachers must also comply with our statement of faith, our contractual requirements and be saved.

WRITTEN STATEMENT PROVIDED TO PARENTS OR GUARDIANS AND MADE AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC REGARDING PHYSICAL FACILITIES
ABCA preschool is located at 3840 Riner Rd and is housed in no less than three separate classrooms. Students may use other areas of the building for Chapel services and play time. Our playground meets requirements of safety and students are supervised during recess.

ABCA preschool is limited to 10 children per teacher.

ABCA preschool does not provide food services and parents are required to send all lunches and snacks with their child.

WRITTEN STATEMENT PROVIDED TO PARENTS OR GUARDIANS AND MADE AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC REGARDING HEALTH REQUIREMENTS FOR STAFF
We abide by the religious exemption law’s requirement that our staff be certified annually by a practicing physician or nurse practitioner to be free from any disability which would prevent them from caring for children.

WRITTEN STATEMENT PROVIDED TO PARENTS OR GUARDIANS AND MADE AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC REGARDING POSSESSION OF PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE
ABCA is covered by public liability insurance which provides coverage in the event that someone brings suit for personal or bodily harm suffered during operation as a result of negligence.
